Pirate Invasion

You can take part in activities that evoke the pirate era such as sink the sailor, which consists of throwing water balloons at the rascals and trying to make their ship go down, and booty hunt, which is an after-dark flashlight hunt. Other activities include a peg-leg race and treasure map as well as pass the cannon ball, a game where losers have to walk the plank. There will be no end to the fun as you play defend the rig and participate in a pirate dress-up contest. To top it off, you can relax at the end of the day by watching a pirate-themed movie.

Water Wars

water warWater fun will continue on August 8 through 10 at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA, as these activities are a favorite way to cool off during the summer. Beach Party 2014

On July 18 and 19, the Owen Theatre will present Greater Tuna, the hilarious off-Broadway play that is a satire on life in small town America. This critically acclaimed production has entertained audiences across the country for a number of years. Showtime is 8 p.m., and tickets cost $10 to $20.
