Travel the Spring Bluebonnet Wine & Cheese Trail

wine_cheese_trailThe Spring Bluebonnet Wine & Cheese Trail is a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of native Texas wildflowers and enjoy the blooming viticulture at some of Texas’ best wineries.

On March 29-30, April 5-6 and April 12-13, the seven wineries along the trail will offer ticket holders a select pairing of two wines and a specially crafted cheese dish. When you arrive at your first winery, you will receive a 12-oz. commemorative wine glass to use and keep for all of your tastings along with a special bluebonnet wine bag. As an added bonus, each ticket holder will receive a packet of Texas Wildflower seeds at each winery while supplies last.

In addition, visit all seven member wineries and each ticket holder will receive a commemorative Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail two-stage professional wine opener.Bluebonnet Wine Trail map

The seven wineries are Bernhardt Winery, Plantersville; Cork This! Winery, Montgomery; Messina Hof Winery, Bryan; Peach Creek Vineyards, College Station; Pleasant Hill Winery, Brenham; Saddlehorn Winery, Burton; and Windy Winery, Brenham.

All seven are in close proximity to Lake Conroe KOA.

Your trail tickets are good on March 29-30, April 5-6 or April 12-13, 2014, regardless of when you purchase them.

The official hours for this event are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday for each trail weekend. All wineries are open during the official trail hours. You have six days over three weekends to visit all seven wineries. Several wineries open earlier or close later than the official hours, so please check the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail website for specific winery hours.
