On March 23, the city will host the Texas Woodland and Wildlife Expo & Spring Fling, an event that will inform about how to take care of the land on which we live. Residents of Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA RV park and campground can spend an interesting day attending live demonstrations and hands-on clinics that provide eco-friendly tips. As an added plus, visitors will receive complimentary tree seedlings to plant in their backyards. Children’s activities will be available as well. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lone Star College – Montgomery, and admission is free.
Another event on March 23 is Sounds of Texas, a performance by folk icon Guy Clark. The concert by this national treasure will be presented at the Crighton Theatre.
