Crighton Theatre will be the scene of yet another lively musical on February 15 to March 3 – The Drowsy Chaperone. Residents of Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA RV park and campground who attend will be delighted with this parody of musical comedy that is a Tony Award winning play. Employing a “show within a show” concept, the plot revolves around a musical theater fan who puts on a record of his favorite show in his apartment, where the musical magically comes to life. The curtain rises at 8 p.m., and the cost of admission ranges from $15 to $20.
On February 16 at 1 p.m., the Go-Texan Parade will march through downtown Conroe. This kick-off of the rodeo season will involve bands, clowns, antique cars and much more.
