On February 9, the Montgomery County Performing Arts Society will host its Black and White Mardi Gras Ball at the Torretta Lake Resort and Spa. Residents of Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA RV park and campground who wish to attend can enjoy a grand evening of entertainment, dressing up in formal attire like Cinderella and Price Charming. A cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, dancing and the presentation of the king, queen and court. Ball-goers are requested to wear either white or black.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days early on February 11, when the Conroe Symphony Orchestra will present A Broadway Valentine, featuring Broadway baritone, Sal Viviano. A delicious Valentine pasta dinner will be provided prior to the concert. Tickets are $25 and reservations are required. The concert will be held at 8 p.m. at The Ark Church.
This month’s show presented by the Conroe Art League will feature an Object D’Art exhibition, where artists will display their interpretations of an amber vase or pewter teapot using a variety of mediums. The artistic renderings will differ dramatically.
