Texas Renaissance Festival

Something very special is happening in Plantersville every weekend in November – the Texas Renaissance Festival. Only about 30 miles from Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA RV park and campground, the town will host Roman Bacchanal, a festivity that involves some of the entertainment of ancient Rome, on November 2 and 3.

Visitors can either compete or cheer contestants on who take part in the Bocce Ball Contest, Toga Contest and the Spaghetti Eating Contest. Street characters dressed in period costumes will be roaming through the village, and stage performances will be provided by the Clan Tynker Family Circus, as well as Sound and Fury. The featured artist is Peter Stachowiak, who creates fantasy in pewter figurines and jewelry.

Each weekend will have a different theme, so try to attend them all. This festival in the nation’s largest Renaissance theme park is well worth a visit. Visit our website and book your spot today.
